The Skyliner consists of colorful gondolas that are enclosed and offer stunning views while transporting guests above the resort. It connects specific hotels such as Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios theme parks.

This efficient mode of transportation not only reduces travel time between these locations but also offers a picturesque and enjoyable ride, giving guests an elevated perspective of the surrounding landscape. The gondolas are decorated with various Disney characters, making the journey a part of the Disney experience itself.

Overall, the Disney Skyliner provides a convenient, fun, and visually captivating way for guests to move between select resorts and theme parks, adding a touch of magic to their Disney vacation.

Disney has lots of signs to guide you along your way.

Where does it travel?

You'll find four fabulous hotels linked to Disney's Skyliner:

  1. Disney's Riviera Resort

  2. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

  3. Disney's Pop Century

  4. Disney's Art of Animation

This magical transportation system connects two major theme parks:

  1. Hollywood Studios

  2. EPCOT (through the World Showcase's back entrance near Paris)

Navigating the Skyliner involves three distinct lines. Ensuring you're on the right line is key, but don't worry – the helpful Cast Members and plentiful signs make sure you're headed in the right direction.

How do I get from place to place?

Let's break down the routes to give you a head start on understanding the system:

At the Riviera Resort, you've got two routes to choose from. One goes straight to EPCOT, while the other heads to The Hub (Caribbean Beach Resort). At The Hub, it's easy to hop onto another Skyliner to reach Hollywood Studios, with clear signs and Cast Members to assist.

Caribbean Beach Resort is The Hub, or the central station, for the Skyliner. From here, you've got two options: one route to EPCOT and another to Hollywood Studios.

For guests at Pop Century and Art of Animation, these resorts share a Skyliner Station. Ride to The Hub, switch Skyliners, and pick your route: EPCOT or off to Hollywood Studios.

What are the operating hours for the Skyliner?

As for availability, the Disney Skyliner typically operates during the opening hours of the parks. It usually opens about 1 hour prior to park opening and closes about 1 hour after park closing. However, always check for hours on the signage.

All Walt Disney World guests can ride the Skyliner. You do not have to be a guest at one of the Disney Resorts on the Skyliner's routes. It is a great way

Quick tip...

Before boarding the Skyliner, check the signs for the last operating time of the day. Take a pic to ensure a smooth return to your resort or to plan alternative transportation.

However, it's important to note that operational schedules can vary, especially during maintenance, severe weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. It's always a good idea to check with Disney Cast Members or consult the park's schedule for any updates or changes in the operating hours of the Disney Skyliner.
